Where do you stand with regards the whole idea of the transfer window?

Personally I see it as a barrier to free movement of employees and have never fully understood why it is allowed to happen. I can't think of many businesses who can only hire and fire within a strict time frame.

So.. cast your vote... are you 'for' the window or 'agin' the window?

You'd get transfer speculation and unsettled players all through the season so it works pretty well in that regard.

Judging by the activity this window I dont think its required. Scrap it and allow no transfers during season apart from out of contract players.
Could also allow over 50s to have free movement so that Sunderland could still do their deals.

I voted to scrap them as we never seem to get any good news in these things.

I'm prepared to delete this post if all goes well tomorrow

Our domestic transfer window should open at the final whistle of the FA Cup, and end before the first whistle is blown for the domestic league campaign. I'd be ok if we gauged it as the start of the Premier League rather than EFL, but that for me is an absolute and complete no brainer.

That applies to loans too. The only exception is the "emergency loan" rule if someone's really up sh!t creek.

What you'd create is a bit more thought in players. So instead of that talented 19 year old plumping for Chelski then spending three years with Bournemouth, Reading, etc., he might think - actually, I'll stick it out here a bit longer before making any move. I'm just not ready. It can still happen, of course, but the abuse of the loan system (which I think should be scrapped entirely) would diminish a little bit as well.

The biggest bug bear for me, and I cannot for the life of me understand the stupidity/spinelessness of the FA here, is how the fck you can transfer players a few weeks after the season starts. It's just such obvious fcking nonsense. I fcking hate the FA.

I vote scrap it. Although I appreciate that might upset supporters of national purple dildo day.

Would Leicester have been able to win the title last season if the bigger clubs could of cherrypicked Mahrez, Vardy or Kante off them during the run in just to unsettle the player and the clubs form?

    I want a draft.

The parties in America look great and its an excellent way of balancing the teams.

Steady on. The FA can't even work out how to moderate a fcking loan system.

No I don't like the purple dildos. Each to their own though, I'm not judging you.
