I think they want to sell the building, but it's listed, so nothing can be done to it. I can't see them getting anything like what they probably want for it.
Not sure, but nothing can be done to the outside. I don't know about internally. It's not a big boozer, so it couldn't be converted into a restaurant. There is quite a sizable 'barn' adjacent. It'd need a huge amount of dosh throwing at it.
Guessing that rent doesn't include bills... seems like hell of a lot? No wonder wouldn't make much money from it if having to pay that plus all the extras to get food and drink etc
Ahh...........................you can still see the tracks where the old combine harvesters used to whizz by
Grade II would mean the outside has to be in keeping with the historical look of the place. Grade I and you couldn't clean the bogs without written permission.
The only decent local round here was converted into flats - or apartments as they like to call them. I'm not sure if it was listed, but I would have expected so - half-timbered, old style windows and all that. Those features were maintained, but I've never seen the inside since it was done up. It's amazing what you can get past the council if you accidentally drop a few brown envelopes in the right place. Allegedly.
