No idea how good these lads will be but we needed the positions filling and it's been done so fair play. They've both looked pretty good at one time or another so they might work out really well, who knows.
Happy enough with Oviedo as a replacement for van Aanholt providing he can stay fit he's a decent enough left back. As for Gibson he's never been first choice anywhere and I see him as more of a squad player once everyone is back fit but for now he will be first choice so let's give the lad a chance. He's scored the odd screamer in the past so hopefully he can bag a few between now and the end of the season. Far from delighted but at least it's something and let's give these lads a chance.
Spoke to a Sunderland supporting Everton fan and he had grave doubts re Gibson as he has'nt played for 2 yrs - hopefully Moyes magic link works Oviedo is a good acquisition imo.
On another note just heard that Ulloa will never play for Leicester again. I've heard a few rumours he's on his way here so again I'll be happy enough with that one. Scores goals and is decent in the air which is something we are desperately lacking.
