    I'm no good with translation or reading between the lines, but it seems that the president has thrown a strop because he has not yet sparked a bidding war to raise the price... so infuriated that while he could've used Gabbiadini to get a result, he chose not to and then realised, if he accepted the money quietly, people would focus on Saints and Gabbiadini and not him and his ego.

    Therefore he has demanded a showdown meeting (where Les will get exactly his way, or he will set the boys on him-this basically means a nice massage and a cup of earl grey)...

    Precisely this type of saga that frustrates me when people moan about Les not conducting business at the beginning of the window, why have x club signed someone when we have not etc etc. Transfers are just not that easy to get across the line - particularly when dealing with nutters.

    It's all becoming rather farcical. Feels like a lot of time has been wasted, if the deal falls through the club really haven't got much time to arrange a replacement, although they may already be working on a contingency plan. Still fully expect it to go ahead.
