Had a rough week last week, got diagnosed with cancer (thankfully it's treatable). My mates have just told me that to cheer me up that they've booked flights for me to go to Georgia for the Ireland match in Sept!Looked like I wouldn't afford to be able to go...What a bunch of lads!!
Cheers...Early indications are very positive thankfully but I will have a difficult road ahead. At least I have good friends and family to help me out!
Sorry to hear that, but glad it's treatable. Sounds like you have some good support there and that will help you through this journey. Good luck and sincere best wishes.
Well don't buy it for me yet, I may be wrong. He may have thought it up on the train and then told his girls on the school run..
Dreadful....I know nutters can be anywhere, but you somehow don't expect it in Canada. Just what people need...escalation of trouble and involve innocent people.

Sorry to hear this Bronze, but good news it's treatable, and even better news you have some great people around you.
All the best, mate. If it's any help, both my brother and sister were diagnosed over 10 years ago and (thankfully) they're still going strong. It's great to have family and good friends around to help.
I'm sorry, that must have been tough to find out but I'm glad it's treatable. I really hope everything goes well for you. Very nice gesture by your friends though!
Thanks for the kind words lads...A win (and a ticket!) on 26th Feb would be a good start to treatment!!
