Mind you, you've gone for pre-Peart there. Slightly easier.

All films are unimportant compared to Watership Down. Saints fans should rally round this film, it's in Hampshire for crying out loud!

Ok. Virtual pint, if you can tell me what gave Richard Adams the idea for the book.

Well it started with stories he told on the school run to his daughters and then onto bedtime stories. Was his original idea something to do with his time in the war?

I Thought he got the idea while looking out at the scenery out of the train window on his way to work . I am not certain though .

Seems the virtual pint is yours <cheers>

Wanted to take part in the 10km race through the watership down location (forgotten it's name) at the end of last year, but didn't because it's a bit far away from me to travel to. As it's my favourite film I probably should have done it.

Ultimate Hell week is back! BBC2. 2 people have quit in 14mins!

(The show is 22 people go through training of various special forces. The winner is the survive obviously. It's the South African special forces in the first episode)

Yes I watched it a while back. A lot more faithful to the original Kipling stories than the cartoon was. I thought it was really well done and there were some great moments, notably Christopher Walken singing! Idris Elba as Shere Khan and Scarlett Johansen as Kaa were particularly scary.

I had been putting it of as the wife wanted to watch it and I wasn't keen.
Glad I gave in as we both throughly enjoyed it and as you say the voice overs were very good and the young lad is a fine actor.
