Well you can see why no ones had a go at the Jak after seeing the goals. We move on. Marco will have learned a lot from that. We looked wide open.
Because we shackled him under Steve Bruce. Defending deep and sometimes left him as lone striker. I said it earlier but he would have fit in well in the style of play Silva uses. Fulham have given him freedom and you see the player he can be. We bought him as a right winger and then played him as a striker! Then people lost there minds because he didn't score goals
Where did I blame Steve Bruce??? I was commenting on the point made on Aluko which is a very valid one! Under Steve Bruce and nobody can tell me otherwise, we were for the vast majority of the time very negative. The first season in the championship, Aluko was amazing until he got injured and a lot of that was down to Steve Bruce adopting an attractive style of football. After promotion Bruce became very negative, and even after relegation back to the championship he kept the same negative tactics which anybody who attended can confirm! Trips to Bolton etc spring to mind! Therefore except the first season Aluko was massively wasted been shackled by Steve Bruce!
Watford lose V Millwall Brighton lose v Lincoln Liverpool lose v Wolves Leeds lose v Sutton City lose v Fulham It happens At least I dont have to boycott another cup game this season. Piss poor from City today But we still have a chance of staying up if only a small shrinking chance. Allams Out
Just back from the game, what a load of ****e, can't even think what to post on the MOTM thread. Hudd not playing midfield seemed to really stifle everyones ambition and Elabdellaoui and Markovic look like they'd never played the game before. Niasse's 15 mins revealed some of the attributes that made him such a favourite at Everton and anyone who misses 2 penalties should have his wages stopped for a week. Can't fault Fulham though, they were at us from the off and deserved the win.
