The main problems I had were that the FA decided such an important case on the 'balance of probability', Evra's story was inconsistent at the best of times (went from claiming he was called a n***** 10 times to negrito once) and the fact he sat in the court and said how upsetting and offensive the word n***** was to him despite a video of him using the word and laughing being on the internet. I really don't think its a good idea to bring all this up again though
See my edit. Suarez did get four games (standard ban for racial comments) but it was doubled because he said it more than once
I don't think the likes of Piara Powar and Co. sticking their noses into things helped, either. People kept attacking Liverpool from all angles which inevitably resulted in a siege mentality at the club which didn't reflect well on either side of the argument!
