I rather we didn't sign anyone for a year than have McCormack anywhere near our club.

Rumour has it that a loan deal is being touted. If he is coming to CR then this would be the best option as buying him is way out of our league at the moment. Still, I can see fans being split on this one. With Basil back and Jerome on the score sheet again then his chances may be few are far between.

    McCormack is a strange one.

When he's on it he is awesome. I would like to know what's happened at Villa.

They are so unstable as a club maybe he has been made promises and given assurances that just haven't materialised? Who knows.

    Very unprofessional though.

I have known players who don't train as much as others for various reasons.

I really can't see why we'd want McCormack. He's a second striker (similar to Hooper) and we don't play two strikers. Wes, Naismith, Pritchard and Maddison all all capable of doing the job behind the striker and doing it well. We're at a critical stage of the season and a disruptive influence in the dressing-room could blow everything to hell.

I'm not sure Wildshut is a 'no-go' yet. Wigan sources suggest there could be further bids and AN was cagey about it. Could be a reasonable replacement if Brady leaves, as he can play WR or WL as well as a striker (which is how he's listed by Wigan). At 6'2" and pacey, he could be a useful option in our mobile front 4. We'd need 1 if not 2 LBs though.

Reminds me of an old Elvis number 'Return to Sender'. Delia seems to have lost her connection with the fans.

It was Ilovedelia that started the writing to Delia trend.

McCormack is on 40k a week on a 4 year contract and 30 years old , if Villa go up his wages go up to 60k a week.
    It's a NO from me.<laugh>

I we loaned him and paid half his wages we could potentially have a decent player. If he doesn't try, send him back.

Wildshut: is he a LB or LW? Brady could play both so do we take it that this lad can do the same? Where is Brady off to? Burnley?

I said about him last night on here. Earlier in this thread I think. He's a LW and a RW. Mainly a right footed LW.

    Edit: Post #977

Thanks FML. So where do we get a LB from? Are we still delving into more possibilities as the 2 Dutch players have turned us down
