Next week is do or die for LJ. Simply put lose against Sheffield Weds then go. Either get a new man in for the Millers game,or go with a temp until the new man is appointed. We cannot, and must not, go into the millers game with LJ in charge. And even if he was given the millers game, and managed a draw,or a win, what about the games ahead. I think we need to accept, the power man is happy for the football club to return to league one. Me after 19 consecutive years as a st holder,I would drop of next season. What a sad thing to say,but for me it say SL would not be the man to take the football club forward in the future. All the speel over the years would show it was truly false. Go get this football club a proper, proven manager, there are a couple ready to rumble,Would they come that is down to the man at the top to sell the club, and vision.
Do you really think Lansdown has spent all this money on the ground, Team, etc, etc, to be happy for the team to return to L1. Delusional
The sad facts are under current stats,City are going back to league one The teams below are picking up points slowly, with us picking up less, hence the change of places will happen shortly. Us falling into the bottom three.
Said all along up to and including Rotherham. If we lose on Tuesday nothing will happen, anything other than a win then Saturday I think something will have to be done. Personally I feel a 0-1 and 1-1 but with my record in the predictions league that is unlikely
Sheff Weds is a big ask to win even when we were doing well early in the season, so cannot see the logic in if we don't win this game LJ has to go, they were play off finalists last season for goodness sake, however, should we lose to Rotherham then I will join the call for LJ to be removed!
Golly Gosh, Robin, do you really think so.... We must do something about it. Get the Batmobile ready.
I think we have seen from recent games that the players appear to be going through the motions. I fully expect player power to get rid of him in the next few games.
Its that old adage You can't build a castle on quicksand. And you can't build a successful football club by hiring cut price manager and players. (nb The going rate for Championship forwards now is 6 million +) And if you want success you must hire a manager who can and HAS done the job
All I know is if LJ would of stayed at Barnsley and they were where they are now, and we are where we are, we would of all been saying ****ing landsdown why didn't we get LJ when we had the chance. I want him gone like most but I did buy into the gamble of this new upcoming manager that even some Prem managers were mentioning. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, please tell me how I can get some?
Any body reckon,we could get any points in February? Please be honest. I see zero points in that month. With us dropping into the bottom two spots,or possibly even bottom spot.
I don't see any either, sheff wed is a total write off already and expecting a loss against Rotherham - that should be the point when he's finally sacked but wouldn't be surprised if the farce just carried on until it's way too late to do anything about it
29th October 2016, we had 24 points and looking good. 3 months to the day onwards, we have 27- Just seen that Fulham game is postponed due to their involvement in the cup- Which means we have 4 away games on the trot after Rotherham- Not looking good- It wont happen, but I would take action now- We need points, hopefully maximum from these two home games, much less its going to be tough to see us staying up-
As above.... Bristol City FC @bcfctweets 2h2 hours ago NEWS: #BristolCity's home game with Fulham, scheduled for February 18th, has been postponed, with the Cottagers in FA Cup round five.
