Probably will be due to having more in common with them. I have nothing against Man Utd, I always enjoyed watching them when they were winning league titles, I just prefer City.

I think a lot of it is down to the fact that neutrals almost always tend to favour the underdog.

I'd agree with that. Not the case with me, I preferred Man Utd out of all the big clubs when they were smashing everything. I'm not one of those bitter football fans, I just appreciate good football.

We were very similar to City when I was growing up, it's a shame what's happened to their supporters, though. They used to be fantastic but since having success, I'd say they are now the worst in the league.

Your tune would change if YOU were found guilty on the "balance of probability".

Also you've massively misrepresented some of those arguments to deliberately make them look silly, well done <ok>

TBF, when Man Utd had Tevez, Rooney and C.Ronaldo up top they were very entertaining to watch. Unfortunately <grr>

The problem when you become like City and start being involved in the big Premier League and Champions League games is that you attract a lot of prawn sandwich fans in. It really does ruin the match day experience at the club, we have suffered from the same, particularly over the last few years since FSG came in.

Fat Stevie Gerrard? I must be having a mind blank because I can't think of who that is

You are right, though. We played them in the final a couple of seasons back and while we were clapping their players lifting the trophy, the Man City fans were boarding the tube and heading home. Then when we played them at home on a Tuesday night, last season, when they were only about 5 points behind Leicester. They sold about half of their tickets and we never heard them all night.

I sometimes think if that is what success does, then I'm not sure if I'd want anything more than a cup win, tbh. I couldn't attend games if that happened to my football club.

Nope, that was the general consensus. And you were at the forefront of using such fallacious comparisons. Suarez even admitted what he said and yet you and your moron ilk continued to attack Evra.

    Totally agree, mate

I sometimes wonder if there are actually any City fans. Or If they're just a figment of everybody's imagination!...

I hardly post here so I'm not sure what your point is?

Plus, you being remembered for being a ****** isn't an achievement. If I visited a special ed school and remembered the one ****** who stuck a pair of scissors in the mains socket, that isn't a great thing to be remembered for.

Essentially, you were the most memorable ****** amongst your ****** group.

<laugh> Fenway Sports Group, our American owners.

I think it is something that goes hand in hand with success, you end up attracting day trippers who have no knowledge of the clubs traditions and have no intention of 'participating' in the atmosphere and just want to spend the time taking selfies and showing social media that they'd been at the stadium.

The only Liverpool games I've enjoyed in the stadium over the last few are the European knockout games of last season because we were surrounded by proper Liverpool fans for all the games on the Kop and they didn't once get their phones out for YNWA, participated in all the chants and just generally had the place bouncing. Early kick offs and anything not under the floodlights are ****ing ****.
