We've had a ****ty 4 days, 5 if you count another day of uncertanty over the JB saga. We've experienced disappointments, a nasty flash back to last seasons abysmal home form and fellow fans have tipped from being highly optimistic to totally dispondant and sack the manager mentality. So I'd like to propose everyone resets the clock (Percy / TWF and a couple of others won't be able to do this owing to mental disorders, but lets ignore this type of band wagon fan for now) So with everyone back home for the trip to Ipswich, a bit of an arse kicking and renewed focus I'm expecting a dogged display and a share of the points. In fact I'm going to predict 4 points from the next two games. Heres my team for Ipswich.. ........................Gulasci........................ Rosser.......Chester........Hobbs.....Dudgeon ...............McKenna.........Evans.............. Koren..................Cairney...............Brady ........................Fryatt......................... Subs: Basso, Dawson, Bradley, Simpson, Pusic The only way is up and I expect a reverse in fortunes. Get behind the team, the management and the club. UTT
I just came on the forums to post the exact same team, this will be good team and feeling confident about weekend
........................Gulasci......................... Rosenior.....Chester......Hobbs.....Dudgeon .................Cairney......McKenna............... Brady.................Koren.....................Pusic .........................Fryatt............................ always feel koren will have a stormer if he's played just behind the striker (where he wants to play). and lets have 2 out-and-out wingers in brady & pusic.
allways posative here as well Thomsen.. I still say we will finish in the top 6 and the goals will come.. The seasons only one League game old and theres lunatics calling for Nigel Pearsons head. I cant Believe it...
Gulasci Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson Evans Cairney Brady Koren Dudgeon Fryatt Basso, East, McKenna, Simpson, Pusic
I know you like Dawson mate, but the other nights performance i think has shot him out for a while. Same team as everyone else for me really.... Gulacsi Rosenior Chester Hobbs Dawson Evans Mckenna Koren Cairney Brady Fryatt Dawson, Pusic, Barmby, Basso, Harper.
I've not seen anything from McKenna that shows he's good enough for us, and we don't have enough players in any position, just felt that Daws was the best of a bad bunch tbh. The more you think about it the more we need quality into the club, as well as quantity. The faster Bullard is sorted the better off we'll all be.
Aye tbh even the simple passes Mckenna disappointed me with, only reason i have stuck by him is literally to give him a few games before i judge him.
Why is everyone changing the teams? Are you all imbecilic? What's the point in changing the team AND formation after a good display against Blackpool, one of the relegated premier league sides? The only thing the team let us down on is the finishing yet your all changing the team going for a boring 4-5-1. People on here really do confuse me sometimes.
Because we've been ****, and whether we play 442 or 451 its defensive anyway. The 451 teams people are listing are more attacking than the 442 we played Tuesday, and will get more out of Robbie Koren.
You are joking? We were good against Blackpool. Very good! We just couldn't finish which is because Fryatt needs 9712658621763170672 more touches than he should be taking before having a shot mainly. Theres no need to change the team, just instill some confidence in our front man, who despite the display against Blackpool, you've put in your ridiculous 4-5-1 teams anyway! Theres no need to change anything. ANYTHING!
If we had any other options Fryatt wouldn't be in, as Simpsons confidence is absolutely shot. Fryatt's proven himself in the Championship before so will come back to being good. Good against Blackpool? Did you fall asleep in the final 70 minutes? We were crap.
As it said in the HDM today, just 4 days ago there was a real sense of optimism amongst the fans (not me though, I'm a realist) and talk was in the air of a Play-Off push. Here we are today, on the 10th August, and a dark mood has descended on the KC, we're already out of a third of the competitions we've entered and some people are calling for Pearson's head.
We were that crap that their goal was against the run of play and we created a lot more chances than they did and probably should have scored 3-4 goals. You sure you didn't take a knock to the head? Like I said, the FINISHING was crap, as was Koren, but otherwise we played well.
And we've just posted our lowest KC attendance for a proper game ever. Not looked at the figures but I can't remember the crowds at Boothferry being as low as last night in the last couple of years either.
