    We might have run afoul of the allowed number of changes (how does that work going cup match to cup match?), but surely we could have thrown a Long jersey on some under 18 and no one would have noticed.

    Genuinely don't understand why he keeps getting chances ... he's 24 for christ sake!!!

    I'm sure he's a decent player, but not at our level.

    Yeah nothing against him personally of course, I hope we find a club for him and all that, was there a reason we contracted him for so long? Usually we wouldn't do that unless someone had broken through already?

    I assumed it was to boost our Europa league quota at the time (he signed a new 2 yr contract around the time we qualified) so maybe it's that?

    Either that, or Les Reed's son is his agent <laugh>

    Thought we would lose when I saw the teams. Expected 2or 3 -0. Havent counted up the games for each side but just counting the number of international appearances for each side, we were novices.Spent most of game watching individuals. Isgrove never seems to make an impact. Pierre seems get more erratic every game. Thought the newbies did as well as possible. If you add up the games played by Sims, McQueen, Stephens, Gardos Reed you might get to double figures. Positives were Gardos playing a proper match and the academy lads getting game time. Ive seen the full strength side play as badly as that in the past at Hull. On we shuffle to Swansea.
