Not according to the lawyers and YEP, but what do they know eh? As I said before, I'm not a Cellino apologist, but the EFL are running scared. The wrongful punishment they imposed was severe and defamatory, and they know that if he calls them out, they're fecked. Shot themselves in the foot, won't endear us to them going forward, but I have to say I'm delighted to see them screw up, and it might make them wind their necks in a bit. Mind you, when has being wrong ever made anyone wind their necks in, eh?
The same thing,if its no longer an offence, then he can't be guilty,so he's not guilty,if he's not guilty he is acquitted of any charge.
Think of it as been found guilty in a civil case over here. The reason the fl wont act on it their fpp test requires criminal conviction to ban someone. As for whether he was guilty of this civil matter they fined him and the fine stands so wasnt aquitted. If he had evaded the tax here it would have been a criminal matter and he would have been banned as well as punished and jail or fine.
He was aquitted,he paid tax that was owed, but it wasn't enough to make it an offence so he's been aquitted. you can try telling us black is really white for as long as you like, but it isn't. The FL did find him guilty, punished him and have now found out he was innocent,1 million off every panel member should be fair compensation for a wrongful conviction.
1 like what's wrong with your mind that turns everything to gay sex. is it a scottish skirt wearing thing ?
And again, his next potential ban has nothing to do with dodgy tax evasion, it's to do with the (alleged mccontract) bung.
