Like Chazz said could have been worse. Glad you are OK. Just pisses you off though.

I have always had (why, I don't know), an interest in all things "weather/earth" related, volcanoes, earthquakes, storm chasing, tsunamis floods etc.

Took a trip today with metal detector to see what damage the recent storm surge did to the coast south of Withernsea.
Spent 2/3 ****ing cold hours on the beach hoping to plunder something valuable enough to retire on, that could have fell into the sea, as around 4 metres of land was lost a couple of weeks ago.

Nothing of value found, but some good sea air inhaled, which of course resulted in fish and chips.

A couple of pics below of the ravaged coast, that in a few years could have the Patrington to Withernsea road in its sights....

Never had a problem with it, great to drive, an all round good motor.

Though if I was changing it now, I'd go for an F-Type, the seats in the back of the XK are next to useless anyway.

Cheers. The rear seats in the back of my DB9 are also pretty dire.... ok in the short term as both my kids are under 8.
But I need to find another coupe with more leg room & I was hoping the XK would do the job.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Ta

If you want something nice to drive, but is also a practical family car, I'd go with a 6 series. I had 645 convertible and it's probably the best all round car I've ever owned.

Could have done to tuck my jeans in my socks though to complete the look and keep the cold out....lol

    Cheers. Appreciate that.

I don't really need a family car.... I only do the school run on a Friday so only needs to be semi practical on the pock run!!
