What makes you dislike another club, be it on here (a footy forum) or in general? Ive got an obvious dislike for Mags. But thats inherited, i cant shift that one. Boro to a much lesser scale. .what makes you dislike a club? Forum wise Spurs (but as a club they are neither here nor there to me) My favourite London club is W Ham, but have no grief with Arsenal nor Chelsea. My favorite Manc club would be City. Scouse would be Everton. Any club you disliks for any reason?
Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham for obvious reasons. Liverpool and Man Utd for equally obvious ones, though not the same as the other lot. Leeds because they're Leeds. I'm sure there's more, but that's my initial batch! Quite like Sunderland, actually. Shame about the unfortunate kit colour and crappy owners, though.
The 'orrible Leeds side turned a lot of people against them, even one of their own managers! “You lot may all be internationals, and have won all the domestic honours there are to win under Don Revie. But as far as I’m concerned, the first thing you can do for me is chuck all your medals and all your caps and all your pots and all your pans into the biggest f*cking dustbin you can find. Because you’ve never won any of them fairly. You’ve done it all by cheating.” Brian Clough, after taking over there!
Messiah Clough. Always a legend. So what your take on, lets say other London clubs? Palace. Milwall etc
Normally people dislike/hate other teams for being successful i.e. Man Utd & Liverpool. Arsenal, City & Chelsea being the other three clubs successful in between Uniteds dominance. But you should have included a poll Commy as my money would go on Spuds running away as the leagues most hated club. Not because of their massive league cup win sometime in the last decade but because they're so bitter towards every other team who are successful. Empty vessels n such....
All honesty mate, when i think of London (so many clubs ) i think of Arsenal and Chelsea. But rivalry W Ham Milwall. Spurs dont come into my equation on any level. Cardiff/Swansea must despise each other.
Can't stand Chelsea because their fans never respect silences (I realise our probably isn't all of them but I don't care, self police the ****s!) Don't like Man Utd for obvious reasons Don't actually mind Everton at all.
Obviously there's a big rivalry between us and The Goons. But, I do have a sneaking admiration for some of the football they play. But also love to beat them nonetheless. Apart from that, clubs like The Chavs and City, I have no time for. They just bought their way to where they are thanks to owners with more money than sense. My second team are Palace. Used to watch them as a kid after we moved to South London.
Their fans tend to respect fck all tbh. Agree mutual feelings towards Liverpool, but at least most of you boys understand footy banter. I don't mind Everton either (or City)
I hate Man U. Load of cnuts. Self righteous pricks. Tottenham and West Ham are also teams I dislike a lot.
I was the one that mentioned Chelsea, you just agreed. However, he didn't say anything to me. Obviously ****ting it...
I grew up in the centre of Leicester, the Saffron Lane, which is about a mile walk to the football ground...be it Filbert St all the King Power. Forest were the team that we brought up to hate but it's a strange thing in Leicestershire....if you live in the west, in Hinckley or Nuneaton (which spans the border with Warwickshire), then the most intense rivalry, historically, is with Coventry ... go North to Melton Mowbray. Coalville, Ashby, and Loughborough and it will be with Forest or Derby ...other than that we don't really 'hate' anyone ...had some run ins with Chelsea, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough over the years but they were more just circumstantial ...the Birmingham clubs could also be a bit tasty ...
