No never heard one , I simply chose them as an example. Bought my hi-fi from Hampshire audio back in the 80's ( part of Audi t now I believe) . Lp12, basic arm and an Ortofon cartridge. Upgraded to the ittok / asaka 3 years later. Jordan pre-power amp mission 770 freedom speakers and a marantz cdplayer / Creek radio.

I didn't watch it at the time, but did several years later and I'm glad I waited as I was older and could see story better. Back then I was a little bit "it's glorifying drug taking" in my view on it. Looking forward to watching T2.

There is something in my makeup (prob' the 1/8th Scots bit) which would stop me paying those prices not matter how nice it sounds, though I'm a little bit greener at the thought!

My wife long ago set the rules for turntable ownership, they are the same as for my motorcycles, maximum of three at any given time. I have on occasion had more which resulted in a little deceit and attempted hiding in cupboards (turntables, not me). From experience I can tell you it's not possible to hide an extra motorcycle, people notice.

The book is better (as is usually the case) but the film is excellent. Was going to go and see the new one today with young Fable, but we both forgot we're going to a birthday party (and I've also said I'd meet a mate this evening which I need to cancel). Memory not what it once was!

On the live version of 'Working Man'? blimey I'm only human it's 15 mins long and has a drum solo (remember them).
I chose what I call my 'rock strut' instead. The kids however call it lurching, or dad dancing.

Hahaha, if you can dance to Rush in 7/8 and 5/4 you're a greater man than I!

I can confidently tell you that I own one motorbike at a time. As for the Koetsu, yeah same here. Admire it from afar, but get on with listening to the music.

Build it yourself. You can have exactly what you want then. It really is quite easy, and there are numerous videos on Youtube to show you how. Once you've built one you'll wonder why you ever bought one finished from a manufacturer.

Yeah, thinking about it since I wrote that, I saw trailers at the time and wondered if it glorified drug taking too. Which may have put me off. But otherwise it was just that I missed it. I've never seen 'The Full Monty' either, which, if you watched Graham Norton last night, Robert Carlyle [who was in both films] thought was 'pesch'. :)
