Excellent episode...was curious to see which spit roast as either is possible in this show lol. Even Astrid looked hot evil. But Lagertha is still my personal choice of execution... Still love Floki..times you think he's skinny and then you're reminded he's a big bastard...
Yeah had planned to do old and new back to back but after watching the first again I couldn't face ruining the moment lol
I thought it was very good. Spoiler: Spoiler The end totally changes the mood and perception of the opening of the film. It changes a feeling of despair for Adams character into hope, in one smart move. Very clever imo.
La La Land. Absolute dogshit. Overrated rubbish that's already been done (much better) 50+ years ago and was consigned to history for a reason.
I was kinda hoping it would be good, like Les Mis. I might still give it a go sometime. Moonlight is very good 8/10
Visually it has its moments but it's a nothing story imo. Will check out Moonlight EDIT: OK the end is pretty ****ing good Lesson learned, don't judge until you get to the credits
Watched that the other night. Very good - 8/10 Watched 'Manchester by the Sea' and 'Hacksaw Ridge' last night. both 8.5/10's.
I should have waited for the 1080p version of Hacksaw Ridge tbh. Watched a SD version on Kodi. Very good film though.
It has more pixels..4k has even more but it really depends on the size of tv and how close you sit etc..bigger the tv the more likely you want 1080 or 4k. You'll not really notice an observable difference on a small tv.
TBH there are so many variants of type of quality these days it's ridiculous. Obviously meant to confuse the average consumer... Anything HD or above is fine, and tbh I can't notice any difference! SD is pretty **** though in comparison.
Yeah ...I had a cheaper 32" full HD tv which although better overall from a viewing angle point of view the 28" 720 had a better face on picture. Colour quality...backlight, blacks all matter as much. My 40" full HD had rubbish back lighting which had dark patches you could see during blacks. The 4k I have now has lovely back lighting but it's fiddley with settings...anything other than "movie" will give the picture what's called the soap opera effect...false lighting from above that makes everything look too real...I. e.ruins all that effort the director put in to lighting lol. Yet the dynamic settings make things like planet earth look almost 3d in quality. Also good for sport. The reality is no tv has one setting that makes everything look it's best...you have to change depending on what you watch...unless you spend a fortune for a tv with software smart enough to do it of course. I'm too cheap for that though lol
