He's a good player. Not really a striker. He's over 6' but, he's a winger. Either side. Mainly a right footed Left Winger. Not really a finisher. More of a flair winger. Not sure he is what we need, unless loads of players are leaving. I'd rather just play Pritchard and Canos to be honest.
Is this a wind-up: McCormack from Villa after his bust up with Bruce? Described as toxic in the dressing room but a proven goal scorer. Many were keen to have him in the last window, but not sure if we would like too see him at CR now.
I was keen and could still be persuaded at the right price. The right price and wages are just a lot lower now. I can't see us matching his wages at villa let alone giving them what they would want up front, so I don't see anyway of it happening. Neil wouldn't be the first or the last manager that took on a troubled/difficult player, sometimes in the right environment and with the right manager they can flourish..............oh bugger! Bah!
