My coach gets to Victoria at 10:25am, after faffing around I'll be at Wembley around 11:15. I'll get the drinks in
Guys, I've got a serious problem. I still can't stop watching Shane Long's goal on repeat. If the tickets get down to members, I'll try and make any not606 meet up that occurs
Really. Thanks for the tip. Surely they're going to lose a lot of trade that way. Can you get £4 Oyster cards?
Imagine if we win it... We would end up winning a trophy before all of the players and managers that have left us "to win trophies". That would be incredible. WTFILN. No pressure saints
please log in to view this image Unfortunately the Royal Mail don't see the funny side. Must be Liverpool fans.
Does anyone know how where abouts the most expensive tickets are located? I'm taking it that the cheapest tickets are up in the heavens. Having a tiny 9 year year old I've got to be careful that he can see without being too close to the pitch or even too high.
Hi Craig, Check page 4 on the Cup Final Tickets thread. There is a diagram with zones and prices. http://www.not606.com/threads/cup-final-tickets.342690/page-4
Most expensive are about halfway up, near the halfway line. There's an image that shows the difference in pricing, found on this link: https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-01-26/southampton-wembley-ticket-information-efl-cup-final
Just been told that the daughter is dancing in MK that day and therefore my lift to the station will be there too for 8:30. We'll watch the first dance* and then head to the station and try an earlier train! We may be down there similar time to you. * funny old life, I spent my yoof watching others have the last dance
That's a tricky one I think, behind the goal it's hard to tell how close to the other end,and on the sides if you're too low it's hard to judge the opposite touchline....decision decision
I read that several local businesses actually supported the 'technical vandalism' as someone called it. I can see both points of view. From the PO perspective, if they allow it for Southampton FC and supporters, then everyone will want it when a local sporting success happens. Then again, perhaps they shouldn't be so sodding stiff and stodgy about these things. When, in 2012, they painted Olympic gold medal winning athletes' home postboxes, everyone said it was a great gesture. I do think they could look into the good PR of it, by doing it properly themselves. They certainly won't win any extra friends by removing the white stripes. By all means remove them and then paint them properly. And, tbh, they look quite good in red and white.
Bet there will be loads of Manchester United fans (most with Hampshire accents) on trains from Southampton as well. Why don't they up sticks and live in Manchester, exiles apart?
A Sunday final is appalling. Really this match should be timed for a 6.00pm kick-off on Saturday. Bet the Met are happy they won''t have to handle warring Liverpool and United fans. Just warring United ones instead. Half of them come from Ireland.
