There's either that, or Napoli may have a system where players rotate positions and Transfermarkt have just put it in as CF. Seems unlikely though as most of his mins have been as sub last 2 seasons, so wouldn't have been on the pitch long enough to rotate.

2014/15 (season Napoli signed him in Jan from Sampdoria) he played 27 games on RW scoring 14, and assisting 2. If we can get him back on that form, we'll be flying. 20 goals & 3 assists from 2,448 mins that season in all.

The issue will be that Sunderland will pay higher wages than us and we all know that is what matters to players so am resigning myself to not getting him signed up. Be a nice surprise if he does join us though

 

Sunderland probably won't be able to pay high wages. They had to sell Van Aanholt just to finance this deal as they had spent all existing funds. What makes you think they are able to agree to 3/4 years of high wages? Especially with relegation looming.

 

Then, I guess the twitter post is right (although coming at it from the wrong angle) we WILL find out a LOT about his character by his choice of club
