Just signed up for unlimited internet so will be able to access any streams of races that are not shown on the BBC, only costs me £120 more a year rather than the £600 which would be lining the pockets of the Murdochs.
This is the sensible option isn't it. The only drawback is that streams will be of a far lesser quality than we've come to expect from the BBC team; but, since they're lost anyway, we should do all we can to watch F1 anywhere other than Sky! Good move Thomsen!
The streams are sometimes pretty good. Sky football can be broken up due to ISP traffic etc. There are plenty of less used foreign stations to join though. Dreadful weather up here in Lake District - never mind missed the riots and home late tomorrow....
I will be downloading the F1 torrents and I know from experience that bt will choke my band width so they can **** off as well, it is simple to change an ISP. I'm starting to feel ashamed of being british I live in Bristol and guess who owns the water I drink,,,,,,,,,,, the yanks, mind you it probably wont be long before that crim murdoch family get there grubby little paws on that as well.
I have a lot of video sources, such as Races from 1980's to 2011 and Qualifying. It's an invite site where you have to get invited to able to get the torrents. And it's been put down to avoid FOM detection like DarcyF1's site which was nearly sued due to Copyright Infringement, but it will be back for 2012 as the Site Founders told me.
In that case if i may be so bold as to ask, when the time comes I would really appreciate an invite, cheers
Good news everybody! I've defected to the anti murdoch brigade. I've just done some sums, and watching the f1 on sky next year will cost me over £600! He's having a laugh if he thinks i'm gonna pay that much. Anyone know any good ISP'S? I've got mobile broadband on 3, and the amount of time it takes to do anything is ridiculous.
Stay away from BT. They restrict my broadband speed at peak times if I download over 100GB a month, which is all the time.
