Hardest I have done for a while. Huddlestone Clucas Tymon Niasse was close, but I hope his first touch and crossing improved.
Huddlestone Niasse Maguire Surprised at the amount of people that have Bowen and Tymon in top 3. They had good games but think people are getting a little carried away!
Niasse - Tore Man U a new arsehole in the first half, hit the bar and scored in the second. Huddlestone - Irreplaceable when he plays like this. The heart of the team. Maloney - Terrorised United with his direct runs. A real weapon for City until he tired later on. Honours to everyone else in the team and the highest praise goes to Silva and his coaches who are making all this possible.
Huddlestone - bossed it Clucas - these two were phenomenal in midfield together Tymon - was Rashford even playing? Niasse a close fourth.
1) Huddlestone - Does a great job at keeping the team calm on the ball even as we play a high energy game 2) Tymon - Thought Lingard had a shocker and it was greatly down to Josh's hard work in marking him out the game. He also got forward excellently 3) Niasse - Scored a goal and hit the bar, made some good runs. Not quite looking like the oaf Everton fans made him out to be. Although somebody does need to teach him how to cross a ****ing ball! Thought Meyler had a solid game out of position, he's been putting in some fantastic crosses lately and the assist was perfect. He still gives the ball away too often and is sometimes out of position but that could be expected given that it's not one he's used to. Markovic showed real class for the pass to Meyler, hoping to see more of that. Fantastic performance by the team as a whole, Marco is doing a superb job with the resources he has.
Tom Huddlestone's performance was stellar. Niasse was tireless and showed the kind of fight and physicality that is missing from Hernandez's game. Maguire looks raw, even clumsy, at times but his imagination and taste for adventure make him an exciting player. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. This has to be the weirdest season since we first moved to the KC with the venerable Peter Taylor at the helm; on the one hand the improved performances under Silva and the new signings he has brought in are huge positives, but weighing against that is the possibility that Ehab has decided having a fire sale is his best chance of making their (Allams) money back. Four days to go and I don't know whether I'm more excited to see who Silva brings in next, or depressed at the thought of the team being gutted, with our best players being sold to our rivals.
Huddlestone Maloney Niasse Bowen, Tymon and Meyler had good games, Evandro I thought was excellent when he came on. No one had a bad game.
