That's the strange thing no league game at the weekend. Unless they are selling robbo and Abel which is entirely possible that they are doing what they did with snods
Certainly don't need anymore injuries so I wonder if that's another factor in view of our next three league games. Who's on the pitch can only give it their best shot. Come on City, see what you can do!
They might surprise us. Our players that is, not Man U. It could be to protect against injuries. It might be to concentrate on the league and the FA Cup rather than this mickey mouse competition. Considering Marshall was first choice for a while, and is supposedly better than...er...he is actually is, giving him a chance makes sense. Giving some younguns a chance in a huge game, possibility of a local hero being born in tonights game. Metaphorically of course, not literally. Still got some old heads in there too, Meyler and Daws. Dio needs to step the **** up too. Still think we can do it tonight.
Looks like he expects to lose (don't we?) and is looking at his team. Probably been told PL, FA Cup and this, in that order. Probably right, too. So keeping his powder dry for a week Satdee against the same opposition, not your usual game progression. Frustrating for supporters, but tactically right if the priorities are right. Let's face it, these are not normal times. We always put the No.2 in goal for cups, don't we? Will it be this: .............. Marshall. Meyler. Harry. Dawson. Tyson. Thudd. . Clucas. ...... Bowen ...... Maloney. Dio. Niasse Edit: rushing
Glad I didnt get out of bed and drag myself to the game tonight We have given up before the game has started imo
Honestly people that believe robbo and Abel are being rested want their heads looked at. Why would the two being rested be the two linked with transfers?? If it were resting why not rest Sam and Harry?
