We know that there will be rotation for this tie, but I would keep Stephens in the team. We need to know what level of consistency we can expect from the young man, and this is the best way to find out. Some of the players I've seen us linked to would block his path, and maybe not even be a massive improvement. We need cover, there's too many games to risk not having any, but Jack needs a run in the team now. Stop starting him, it will be far harder to judge.
I think this game should have been Sunday....far too soon after an away tie in an important competition.
And we're playing away to Swansea tuesday rather then wednesday...schedule is really not doing us a favour this season.
