The fact that we put a completely different player in there that changes the whole movement of the front three adds to him being missing.

He would normally pop up all over the place for us though, he isn't restricted to coming deep to control the game.

Thats the point.Klopp's system is predicated on the basis that the other team is willing to play ball and is playing to win. City, Arsenal, Chelsea were playing to win so we beat them. But when a team does not want to play and let you have the ball for 80% of the time and happy with a point, would you play the same system? No.

That QPR Ted twat came on my birthday thread saying we'd win 3 - 1. Someone seriously needs to ban the twat <grr>

We can't keep crying about missing players, this is football, Mane, Coutinho and whoever are going to get injured at some point. Moaning about missing players isn't the problem. Having decent cover and and a Plan B is the way forward.

The challenge for the title was always a squad game. Our best 11 was considered to be the best (by pundits!) but our squad and covering players nowhere near good enough.

ture but you can tell key players are not right.

henderson can't run properly, its obvious as he tries to get back. Coutinho is 50% fit, he's hanging out in a bad area and needs directing. Firmino isn't bothered if not playing CF so thats attitude. Clyne is ****ed. Matip is only back and has a well dodgy ankle.

all in all thats not exactly great is it.

    Shane Long says it best:

"The whole team is trying to force them out wide, not letting them make passes through middle to get 1-on-1 with keeper."

We have no width other than Mane, and our full backs have no creativity.

I don't want to start getting at Klopp but again his subs were useless, Origi is a striker who likes to sit up top he offered nothing different, he had Woodburn on the bench if he's good enough to be there then use him he at least would offer something different.

It seems to me that he's sticking youngsters on the bench but doesn't trust them in big games.

I heard him live and i am fairly sure it was a fake having a mess.

he couldn't decide if he was saying our defence or their defence and gave himself away IMO.

Playing wider is one option but the ball still has to come into the muddle for a shot to be on. A while ago there were lots of long shots being taken, mostly Coutinho and I thought that was Klopp's answer - draw the opposition out, but even that's stopped. I'd try forcing corners, taking long shots or even as a go to, park our own bus and see who blinks first.

That's a bit unnecessary. Are you in his head?
Obviously centre is his most effective position but to accuse him of not trying elsewhere is unfair.

in general yes but the really dangerous areas are the byeline AND if you run out wdie and draw a man a gap opens for a player to run into so the passer can ut it wide to you or maybe into feet in the gap you created.

the way we took corners last night was abysmal. Unless someone cottons on that all to the near post is rather easy to defend.. well.. i hope we get coutinho back on corners personally.

I'm watching him. Has he helped TAA out once in 2 games? I think not.

He goes where he wants IMO
