Saints in takeover talks with Chinese group

Building a new stadium doesn't count towards FFP though. So hope that is one of the first things they do.

 

The much debated "do we need it or not?" stadium! I'm firmly in the "Build it and they shall come" camp. Exciting times.

 

True, but that can be done. Man City did it I think.

 

I seem to recall them flaunting those rules and being punished along with PSG. Will need to check though.

Too early for me to say whether I am happy with this as we don't know the details. I am pleased that Katharina won't be leaving altogether (so it appears) but am a bit wary as I don't want Saints to start spending money they can't afford. I can see a day when the PL bubble bursts and I don't want us to be caught out. Too cautious for some I know but that's me.

 

Any idea why she felt she needed to comment? Saints don't usually feel pressure to make any public comment on things like this.
