    Stephens was just walking coolly away until the other Saints players turned on Origi and then he joined in like an excited puppy. :)


    Wish the press would stop encouraging Klopp in feeling hard done by about penalty shouts....Shane Long moved his arm, but ball hit shoulder (and ref could easily have thought chest) and the ball came in from an overhead kick. As for Stephens one...heard two views...one he got the ball and one he pulled his leg back (take your pick)....though Jack says he got the ball. And what about the tug on Maya's shirt? General view luckily is that over the two legs we deserved to go through.

    I've completely lost my voice. Just tried to order a coffee at Lime Street Station, and nothing came out, just a rasp. And I'm too old for leaping over seats being hugged by strangers. Twisted my knee, ricked my back, nearly got my glasses broke.

    Still can't believe Shane did that. Runs the length of the pitch, recieves the pass with a clean sight of goal, only the keeper to beat, we know what happens next don't we? Shaaaaaannnneeee!!!!!!

    Am off to gym shortly...the owner and 2 in my gym class are Saints supporters, so will enjoy that. There are also two random guys I speak to in the street about Saints...must wander the town until I find them. :)

    I've watched the match this morning after forgetting about it and going to bed early last night. Yoshida was MOTM without a doubt. Romeu a close second and big pat on the back for Stephens who looked like a regular Prem first team player.

    Still not feeling the buzz. Maybe I would've got swept along if I had watched it live rather than just reading that we had won.
