    I went back to bed at 7:30am but it was pointless. It was like being a kid trying to sleep on Xmas eve when you have already sneaked a peek and you know you are getting exactly what you had been begging for all year.

    I'm kind of hoping we wear black in the final, as a sea of black behind the goal would look pretty damn cool. I might even purchase a huge Jolly Roger and an eyepatch. Ooh-argh! And Tom could wear his referee kit.

    I had the same problem with the website. Sounds like you are trying to log on via the LiveSaints screen rather than the Tickets screen, or vise versa. Ring em up, they'll sort it for you. I've had murders with that website, somehow ended up with 2 accounts in my name after logging on to buy tickets for my son.

    Right, looking forward to work this morning. Working all day with a scouse Liverpool supporting consultant. He asked me yesterday if I wanted him on site. I said "if we win I want you to report to my desk at 9am".

    Was hard to come down enough to sleep last night....my face was locked in a smiling rictus as my brain replayed Long's goal. Going to be hard for the team to recover for the game against Arsenal. Go for it, lads.

    One thing in your favour, the club allocations for this competition is a good bit higher than the FA Cup, as less tickets are set aside for hospitality etc. Good luck <ok>

    I think people who have attended EFL Cup games should and will get some priority. I will be way down the list as only been to a couple of games this season, but am ok about that as I don't think my ticker could take it and I have been to 2 Saints finals.     I hope Hull beat United....mainly because then we may get some coverage*.....otherwise it will be Mourinho's Man United vs some other team. I bet the media are looking forward to Puel's scintillating interviews :)

    *On the other hand, we will get wall to wall coverage of our FA Cup win,
