    Brilliant first half, defending well but posing a threat. Arguably better team.

    Redmond causing all sorts of problems.

    Stephens, one dodgy backpass aside, playing and coping very well.

    I wish Niall Quinn would shut the **** up with 'If Southampton don't make final, they only have themselves to blame...' I don't care if your right I don't wanna hear it ya clown!

    45 minutes to go... survive the inevitable 5-10 minute onslaught at beginning of 2nd half and I fancy us here. Should get chances too.

    Getting VERY tense in the pub <yikes>

    I will say this at half time before we are all either heart broken or elated.

    Isn't it bloody fantastic that southampton can give us opportunities where we truly believe we can win major trophies. The nerves and excitement are incredible and it's just brilliant that we get to experience times like this as Saints fans. Despite our indifferent league form I have thoroughly enjoyed this email season!

    Staying positive but really, over the two legs our finishing is borderline embarrassing.
    Defending so far has been great and unlike some, signing a new deal has kept Romeu' momentum.

    Joking about transfers aside, I have to add to the praise for Redmond. I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch of the imagination but he's been excellent so far. Just needs a goal to top the performance off...
