So it's now absolutely clear. We can cope without most on this pitch but the one player we can't seem to cope without is Mane. Without him our movement is extremely one dimensional and generally in front of the defence. Sturridge is showing us all why he spends his time on the bench.
There is some serious imbalance in the team as currently set up. Sturridge can't press effectively and firmino who was back to himself over the weekend is shunted out to the right to fit sturridge. Over the weekend it was Lallana being sacrificed. I'll keep saying it klopp is confusing or rather messing up with the chemistry by changing and chopping. Back to basics get Firmino central and see goals flow.
TAA keeps over committing on that right side. He needs to hold position and keep the defensive shape at times rather than attacking the ball every time
So taa has shown a real weakness here in chasing up like a midfielder jnstead of holding ground but we have created nothing NOTHING except from him. I don't know where lallana thinks he's playing. Firmino is awful. He's not helping anyone. Henderson heel is gone. He can't back... he is ****ed. Sturridge is just sturridge. Got a chance, produced a weak shot.
Not sure what we need to do here, were not playing that badly IMO, Southampton are just better than us. Southampton are getting back into shape quickly when we have the ball and are quick to pressure us and win the ball back. I think we need to move the ball more quickly negating their pressure. The ball needs to be moved quickly and accurately and we then have control of the game, then we have to be patient.

Totally agree. Someone needs a word. Once ok you got done but twice and got raped totally means you have to ball him out as his cb inside him. He's done well outside attacking but you have to cut that out.
