I think they can afford to be fairly patient, they know if we score they have to score at least 3 so they'll not be leaving any doors open unnecessarily.

 

Teams tend to play this stuff pretty close to the vest, for whatever reason. I mean, I don't think that we ever announced that Targett/McCarthy's injuries were fairly severe...information just trickled out when they weren't back after a lengthy spell.

This is one of those games, where the longer the game goes on, with Liverpool chasing a goal, the more likely it is to come down to a refereeing decision.
I hope no one dangles a foot for someone to go over, to buy a penalty, especially in front of the kop.
I also hope the ref has boned up on handball, because their players and fans will be baying for a penalty, even if the ball has only travelled a few inches, at 50mph, to strike an arm.
Ref Couthino. Force him onto his left foot and stop him getting in those shots.

Yeah, we've got a good shout to get something here but its going to be a knuckle biter. I hope we match them in the opening 20, sitting back and trying to soak up pressure from that line-up will not be fun.

 

It looks as though the choice to go for Davis and JWP rather than Clasie and Höjbjerg shows we aren't just sitting back. Fair play to Claude, I'd have been more defensive!
