The trouble with running more than one FF team is forgetting which player is in which team. I opened up this thread positively licking my lips at seeing how many I'd spanked Tom by. But no. That'll be my other team then
Yes, I encourage players to ask if they are not sure about a result. Match report Chilcompton Meanderers : Sigurdsson 1 Goal + Coleman 1 Goal + Tottonsaint's defence collective total (-4) 1 Goal = 3 Tottonsaint : De Bruyne 1 Goal + Chilcompton Meanderers' defence collective total (-4) 1 Goal = 2
Ok, I forgot about both defences giving each other a goal, but also thought there would have been assists for Adam Smith, Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne for my team.
I take all my info from the BBC website, as stated in the rules, it credited Adam Smith with an assist but not De Bruyne and Walker. The beeb's criteria for an assist seems to be the last person to pass to the scorer before he scores, also no assists on penalties and own goals.
No problem, you can only work with the info given, though how Walker and De Bruyne aren't given assists by the BBC is pretty much beyond belief. Walkers pinpoint cross for Alis header was awesome, as was De Bruynes through ball for Sane, and am pretty sure no one touched the ball apart from the scorer to put the ball in the net.
Mind you, Gylffi Sigurdsson was also robbed of an assist, which would have been doubled up to be a goal, so it works both ways!
Doing a great job SA! I've agreed with my last 3 scores! and when I disagree I'm wrong! (but it is very hard to work out who the assists are awarded to on the BBC website - do they list them somewhere?)
