I think you have misunderstood this footballing cliche. 1. 10m isn't a fair price for a player of his ability in todays market. 2. He hasn't been a diva making huge demands like Payet. 3. The Allam's are asset striping. I don't think there is any instance at all of Snodgrass trying to be 'bigger than the club'. Of which by the way with every day the club becomes more and more worthless. The club is the history, the fans and the assets. Of which are been stripped - Diame, Livermore, Snodgrass and I am sure if any more bids come in for players, they will go to. Replaced with short term loanees.
Isn't it strange how some people suddenly think that once a player leaves it's a case of, he wasn't that good anyway.
I sure not even the best editors/filmakers could put anything together to prove Dio is fantastic.....maybe putting his overhead kick and turn against Palace on a constant loop
Play off final Wembley. Snodgrass with the assist and Diame with the goal. 1-0 City. That's what your best players are worth.
Not saying snodgrass is not a good player just don't see him as the type of player Marco wants in a high pressing quick team Jose got rid of mata at Chelsea as he didn't fit The same game plan instead he brought Willam in So they had hazard and willam/ Oscar supporting drogba
It's very different when you manage Chelsea compared to Hull City. We can't afford to get rid of our biggest goal threat. Contrast our set pieces with him in the team to those without him in the team. Now is not the time to completely reshape our team, we are fighting for our lives.
I see celtic have a shot at getting Bojan for about 8m. Wouldn't be a bad way to spend the Snodgrass money if it's available.
Not in the slightest. It's the same with injuries, i's amazing how often an unavailable player becomes 'exactly what we're missing'.
^This exactly. Silva has a very clear idea of how he wants us to play and what he wants his players to do. If ANY player does not fit into that idea, they are surplus to requirements.
Too slow, it's just like for like. If I was one of the teams after Snodgers I'd go for him instead though.
I'd suggest when you've been in the bottom 3 all season on a club record run of away defeats is exactly the time to reshape the team.
Totally agree.......i don't see Marco being the type of manager to just sit around and watch his best players being sold around him. He must have other options in hand.........or he quits tomorrow
im not saying we should sell him I'm saying in my opinion I think he would have ended up on the bench as I don't think he would have fit Marco eventual game plan
