    The first one? Excellent...

Original cut of the second is pish but I have a copy where the director who got sacked and the money men put together the edit bought up all the footage and re edited it to the film he actually wanted...much much different.

    3rd....pish..lol

^^^^^^ great 80's movie and great soundtrack too. Circa 1986 which was just before music in the 80's turned to ****... and no surprise Freddie Mercury died <whistle>

80's really were a great decade for movies... my first teen experience of going out with mates to catch a film at the old Odeon cinema that looked like the old vaudeville theatres with the fold-down red velvet seats.... Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Goonies, Teenwolf, Gremlins, Rocky 3 and 4, Aliens, Beverley Hills Cop were just some I went to see.

Then the others that deserve a mention - Breakfast Club <applause>, Trading Places, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Stand By Me <applause>, Bladerunner ffs!, The Lost Boys, Platoon, Terminator.

Special mention to Glen Close in Fatal Attraction. The film that created the term "Bunny boiler" and more frightening than any horror film as it portrays the psychos all women are. <ok>

so i watched through GoT again having recorded season 5.

On the run through its clear where they went wrong:

Oberin martell is a trigger to events

his death sees tyrion kill his father and flee which in turns then frees cercei to go nuts.

however season 5 can then be split between 2 things.

    1. great stuff with littlefinger, sansa and jon snow. in particular the battle with the dead and the scenes with ramsey and sansa. The stannis stuff is a side show be needed. arya trianing is fine

    2. really really weak silly stuff with deneyris and cercei and dorn. It is incredibly silly to see the prince of dorn allow his borthers wife send her daughters to kill his sone and the lannister girl and insult him to his face and do nothing. Cercei walking into the sparrows clutchs having set up the tyrells and seeing the queen taken.. that was just STUPID. and the weakness of the tyion journy to deneyris and her own weakness with the slavers was annoying.

So watching it all back for me crystallises the journeys different characters were on but the whole dorn stuff falls flat.

When I've watched it 1 episode at a time it's dull, come the new season I'm waiting until it's finished and then watching the lot at my own pace.

I think in general that will work as theres a build up through to a big finale and frankly with only 7 episodes they will be long.

season 6 had such a cliff hanger to resolve and ramsey bolton was so much fun that fixing the muck aorund deneyris and cercei from season 5 actually worked. the deneryis getting back to mereen wasn't all that and frankly the last epsiode was so well done that cercei blowing them all to hell was an epic espisode.

2nd episode of mad dogs (US version... Haven't found original yet) much better.

They waited too long in first episode to get to the juicy part. Much better when things go wrong.
