Fascinating Horizon on BBC 2... all about Hair and how products effect it from shampoos to heat products for styling. Amazing stuff. Most of course kept from the public.
No matter what you think of Sky I'm glad to see them raising awareness and trying to make people do something about this issue.
When I was first getting into the NFL and deciding whom to support, the Patriots were a consideration for the England part of their name... and Tom Brady was the only player I knew. I also considered the Baltimore Ravens as the first game I watched all the way through was a Baltimore Ravens game in the play-offs. It was epic! But then I supported the Vikings because they were the first team I saw in person.
The gf is watching some diet programme. They are showing a diet were you eat a placenta or make it into a smoothie or a pill... Need to puke
Going back to when I lived in NZ. On a visit to Auckland, we went into a good health café where they had seaweed smoothies. My partner advised me to try one [interesting that she didn't have one - should have spotted that] and so I indulged. Sadly, there were no potted plants around. It was vile, but I drank it down to get rid of it. In order to redress the balance, they did huge lamb shawarmas, so I had two. YUM.!
Yeah it contains a hell of a lot of nutrients and it's said to help mothers recover their energy quicker after giving birth. In some cultures it's traditional for the Father to eat it. I was offered it when my Son was born... wasn't happening
May be important in primitive societies with poor food resources...must be full of iron. In a Western society, it's just one of the fads going round. I know automatically that I would never get on with any couple that went in for it....far too much eye rolling involved in being their friend.
Yep. A bowl of wine soup will give the mother all the nutrients she needs. That's what father in law gave my wife anyway.
I've signed up to a Keep Wales Tidy initiative which means that I'll be out virtually every weekend walking some of the most beautiful coastline in south west Wales picking up rubbish. I'm really looking forward to it!
I always pick up the rubbish when I'm out walking. I have pockets full of poo bags and carrier bags when I go out with the dog. People probably think the dog has done enormous poos!
