Don't know either way with Lescott even with rock bottom expectations. As Vince says we need bodies in and we all know that Lescott used to be good once upon a time so if we get an older and let's pretend wiser version we'll have done well.
As many have said bit conflicted - he's very experienced but was awful in a very poor Villa defence - hopefully we get the one that played for Moyse at Everton. Will certainly get my backing as will any new face that pulls on the shirt; just hope he's fit enough to start cause I can't see Papy getting the charges dismissed One other possible upside is his potential to help young Papy through his experience.
Adding Lescott makes us stronger. Maybe only very slightly stronger but definitely stronger. He's another option and he brings experience.
It's a no from me we need better and younger. Looks like moyes is looking after his old mates that no ****er wants.
He's better than nothing though. And seeing as its now the 24th Jan and there's no sign of anyone else showing up, nothing might be exactly what we get without him.
