Police are appealing for information about a man from west Hull who has been missing since Saturday.

James Cooper, 28, from the Hessle Road area, was last seen at about 2.15pm.

Humberside Police say have concerns for Mr Cooper's welfare due to his "current state of mind".

He is described as a white male, approximately 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build, with short brown hair and a tattoo behind his right ear saying JC.

When last seen he was wearing a red lightweight hooded jacket, a pair of dark grey jogging bottoms, a Hull City black and amber shirt and black and orange Adidas trainers.

A Humberside Police spokesman said: "James Cooper has been reported missing from the Hessle Road area of Hull having last been seen at approximately 2.15pm on Saturday, January 21. We have concerns for James' welfare due to his current state of mind.

"We would also appeal directly to James, and ask him make contact with either the police or another adult - James, please let us know you are safe and well."

Anyone who believes they have seen James or someone fitting that description should call police on 101 quoting log number 311 21/01/17. Information can also be provided to Missing People on 116000.

Do they always make the police photos grainy so you look like a smack head? I think I'd smile in mine. If they ever caught me. They won't.

I rather figure that If being photographed, say in Victoria Sq, Sterling, the Snapper would have to at least stand in Humber Bridge viewing area, to account for a number of factors in your relationship between the Camera.
