If I was manager , especially a new one at a club in a relegation battle , and I made it clear that I wanted Llorente to stay ( and there was nothing in the fine print in his contract saying he could leave ) and the club sold him ......I would quit !!. Everyone else on the team might be a horrendous loss , but there are players that could step in , except for Llorente IMO

Well if the board sell Llorente, we should have a mass demonstration, drag the board out of their ivory tower and placed in stocks outside the Liberty. It would be suicidal to sell him now, as you say Phil now up to speed with PL football, and will get at least another 10 before seasons end, if he gets us another 10, that's us staying up in my book.

The club can't sell Siggy or Llorente. We need more players with their attitude and commitment to stay up not offload our only 2 players with any credibility so far this season.

It speaks volumes if both Loriente and Siggy stay because it gives us an insight into the intentions of the new owners. If the stay then the intention is that we stay in the prem, sell them and their intention is short term profiteering.

We've feared the worse with the new owners and our fears have been justified imo. An uninspiring summer of cheap options in the form of Guidolin, sale and non replacement of key players. We were excited over Baston but as the seasons gone on he looked more and more of a dud, still does unfortunately.

Post summer we had a poor start combined with the calamitous appointment of Bradley and it was no wonder we all started to think the worst was about to happen and that the owners were about to hanging us up to bleed us dry.

But things have changed, I know we're still wading in the **** but, whispering very quietly now, things do seem much better than just three weeks ago.

We've got rid of Bradley who was a blight on our club and replaced him with a coach who seems to have a better understanding of what needs to be done with sufficient ability to at least try to do something about our predicament. Bradley dragged us down to his level but now we have hope.

Its too early to start shouting yet but things do seem better, in a short space of time too. We have a coach in charge now not a clown, there's hope for our new signings who looked fearless in the one game they've played, we've won 2 out of our last 3 games, our high profile players are singing from the same hymn sheet and want to stay, music to me ears, ha ha and we've just beaten away from home a title contender. So if we can survive the transfer window and only lose the likes of either Taylor or Kingsley (hope Taylor, can't see both staying) and Barrow, maybe get a couple more signings to fatten up our skinny squad then its all to play for imo.

Not sure about Jordon Ayew, would he be an improvement on the squad or would it be better to keep Barrow? I dunno

Soon as the Americans took over and had Bradley attach himself to their wagon , I feared ( and rightly so ) that everyone from players to fans would rebel in their own way . Bradley could very well turn out to be a fine manager , but he wasn't taken seriously by anyone in the rank and file of the club . Could very well be ( and I hate hindsight ) that if almost any non-American manager ( and I still think we should have let Guidolin carry on ) was hired we would be up the table a bit .

Agree Roof, Bradley may end up in the MLS one day but I think he's heading to Norway first. Good luck to him wherever he ends up but one thing is for sure, he was no premier league manager ans I doubt he ever will be imo.

I was quite happy to see Guidolin go when he did but I was mortified with the choice of his replacement. My problem thing with Guidolin was that imo, he wasn't giving us 100%. He seemed to be drifting into retirement while here and happy with mediocrity. There was no apparent desire to go all out for us. I think he was looking for an easy ride myself and I don't think he was good enough for us, maybe when he was younger but not then. We needed more from him, certainly more than he was prepared to give.

The timing of his departure was right, but his replacing him with Bradley was wrong on every level imo.

They approached OGS instead of the magnificent Bradley but he's turned them down :)

Considering isn't doing. Barrow has pace but no end product less than Montero I think.

Andrea Ranocchia is terrible Judging by the comments on FH. Some are calling him the worst player in Serie A. I've got to say I know little to nothing about him though.
