All we need is to score at least one goal more than the saints in 90 minutes. Which is eminently feasible at Anfield. If tied the game goes to ET, then we'll worry about the away goal. Not a mountain to climb in a two legged semi final.
that there is horrendous over reactions both positive and negative to Liverpool's performance. you have what you have and if LFC took a 1-0 lead away in europe i'd be confident cos no away goal YOu only need to score and you make it very hard for LFC. you should be using your pace wide to hit on break and see what happens One thing for me 100% is if i were LFC manager i would be sending frimino out sprinting in on van dijk and taking a yellow to kick that ankle/foot.
Very right, we do have pace and can counter well, but we don't finish our chances, so that is often negated.
well... you only need one. LFc need to be patient but also play wide. against swansea we made it far too easy by being far too marrow. we have isolated milner and clyne constantly. coutinho needs to be far further up the pitch imo
Should be a good match whatever, always a good atmosphere vs Liverpool, and a night game and semi final. Although we haven't sold out our allocation yet, still today though... I'm #buzzing 10am leave soton and back at 3am if no extra time.
I think a lot depends on how we approach this. If we come and try defend the lead for 90 minutes then I think we'll come unstuck and lose comfortably. If we approach it the same as the first leg, then think we have a great chance though will still be tough, particuarly if Virgil doesn't play. Still make you lot favourites, though we haven't conceded yet in this competition. Nervous as **** already!!

Not nessercarily. Just think if your mindset is to defend for 90 minutes, it can be hard to reverse that if you concede, espescially away to one of the top sides. I'm pretty hopeful we won't do that anyway, same tactics as the first leg for me where we pretty much played as an away team anyway. Can't see a 0-0 so feel we'll have to score to get through.
