Please, Please, Please, end this nightmare. LJ may love the club, but no where near as much as the fans, the ones the follow the club, home and away, and pay their hard earned money. This guy has the tag of being the worst manager, in Bristol City's history, with a new unwanted record. I appreciate he was your man for the job, however clearly a job too soon. Please swallow your pride, and understand, on current stats this club is returning to League one next season. 7 points from a possible 48 is a disaster, this is not going to change under Lee Johnson as manager. Clearly this is going to get worse, before it gets better, the longer you allow this to carry on,the venom from the fanbase will get louder, and louder, until Lee Johnson is sacked. All the good has completely fizzled away, the new stadium will be a 1/3 full next season in league one,is that something you truly wish to see happen. You are the man that created the situation, only you can rectify the situation.
Just think where we could be,with the right manager, with the quality of players here. This is as good a squad, as i can remember guys. DON'T underestimate this job, there will be some big names wanting it,the question is does SL want a yes man,or not, that is the question.
You're regurgitating the same stuff mate. We know you want Neil Warnock, Alan Pardew and Nigel Pearson. Warnock is a possibility admittedly, he's always wanted this job but he does have a reputation for spending money. However, could we get him from Cardiff, and would he split the opinion of fans. He's a numpty but I'm one of the very few who actually likes him. Nigel Pearson is a loose cannon and the exact sort of person who could put a fatal rift in the camp should it all go pear-shaped. That would be a definite relegation then. And Alan Pardew... I mean, after managing in front of 50k every week with Newcastle for 4 years, having weekly scuffles with Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho and the like, it must be an absolute dream of his to finally get the opportunity to move to Bristol fecking City.
Rob I'm like you that i would have loved Warnock here,Alan Pardew would be great capture in my opinion, why not if a deal could be done. This is the calibre we should looking at. NP cracking job at The Foxes, did not workout at Derby, but hey Lee Johnson has not worked out here.
Tom if i was Mark Ashton i would be pushing Steve L to get LJ gone. This stinks, the sheff weds home game is going to be very very lively.
Whatever Lansdown says on TV tonight won't wash with me. Unless he's talking about the Finance industry. Anyway, football and football management - Lansdown doesn't have a clue. He's fast becoming an embarrassment and needlessly hanging Junior out to dry. Bl**dy hell, I'm feeling sadness for LJ. I need a lie down. And that Matthias Kurth - what a plonker. Where do they get them from ?
To be frank, Lansdown did not wholeheartedly back Lee Johnson, on TV tonight. He is hanging on by a thread I reckon. Burnley loss, then sheff weds loss the ground is going to be a unpleasant place next Tuesday night. Lansdown will act,he has too.
Should have heard him talking to Geoff Twentyman on the radio, sounds like he's going nowhere anytime soon
