This is on point. If Marshall didn't collect that cross himself he organised the defence. The players clearly have no confidence in Jak which is obvious by the way they make no attempt to make a challenge.
Several others took 'one for the team' when caught on the break. That's what happens when you have to push for an equaliser against good teams.
Despite the 2 injuries (hope Mason's ok, he looked well up for it til he got nutted). Despite the ****ery of a ref and his equally ****ing useless lino. Good performance against the best team in the league. Silva's working miracles and I don't expect to fare as badly in the next few league games, and still think we can surprise Man U in the league cup too.
Chazz I realise your on change and want to pick an argument with anyone these days but all I did was say Meyler gave the free kick away, at no point did I blame him for anything.
Dodgy ref decisions both ways, Curtis was lucky to stay on the pitch after his second foul. Thought Hernandez had a bit of a stinker. Having said that we deserved a point, good all round performance.
I don't see how anyone can criticise anyone in that performance. Meyler played well. Harry was fantastic. Two more noticeable injuries as well. Mason early on and then Curtis. Good performance.
I have always been reluctant to jump on the Harry bandwagon, but he was immense today (though should have been closer to Costa for the goal). Clearly MS likes his runs.
Chelsea are where they are because of players such as Hazard, Costa, Willian etc. We don't have players who can do what they do week in week out, but today's performance was excellent save for the lack of concentration for Cahill's goal. Might have helped slightly if the ref had given the fouls on Hernandez and then the gap in class wouldn't have mattered. Silva needs 2 more players this week and the club should refuse all bids on Snodgrass or indeed any of our other players.
It's all about fine margins at this level - ref gives us the freekick they don't score their first, if the linesman grows a pair and gives the penalty to Abel, ref could easily have sent Curtis off; it's all ifs, ands and maybe's but, we've worked our nads off but created no clear goal-scoring chances. Unless the goalscoring fairy sprinkles dust over one of our players we're pretty much bolloxed, Evandro to replace Snodgrass for the rest of the seasons set pieces ...... don't make me laugh.
Anyone listening to that twat souness.. why oh why don't they just come out and say that we stifled the opposition rather then using the old Chelsea weren't at their best .. bunch of tossers .. at least Thierry is pointing out the fouls.on hernandez
Defensively very poor Davies, Dawson and Robertson in particular. Abel unable to hold the ball up. The rest played pretty well against the best side in the league.
