We won't stay if there's a bunch of investors soaking up the profits. We'd need probably seven or eight big money signings to survive. Can't do that if ****ers all over the world are robbing the cash
What happened to Newcastle,Brighton and Huddersfield will walk the playoffs ? you change sides more times than the Italians,ow hang on a minute
Yesterdays result and performance was totally predictable to anyone who watched the game at ER between the 2 sides. We won 2-1 but were hanging on grimly for the last 20 mins or so. Barnsley put cross after cross into our box and we did well to not concede the equaliser. We missed Pontus and Charlie and the decision to play Pontus at Cambridge is now proven to be the bad one we all new it to be. Coyle was not up to the task unfortunately and Beradi showed his limitations at left back. The first goal we conceded was a carbon copy of a free kick against Brentford. Taylor had gone off and Beradi was all over the place at left back and we nearly conceded due to poor organisation. So it's a common free kick routine and we should have been aware of it. Second goal conceded Coyle is too tight and actually handles the ball and in doing so controls it for the forward to turn and score. Third goal and the wall is incorrectly positioned. The scorer moves the ball a foot to the left and then curls it around the wall. An excellent free kick but again proper organisation would have seen the possibility of that and therefore lined the wall up a foot to the left also. What's happened to Sacko ? No mention of how long he'll be out but his pace was really missed yesterday. Let's hope that Monk now gets the 2 players he keeps saying we need. In fact we should have had them already as we have known for some time about injuries to Sacko, Taylor and Cooper as well as Jansson's suspension. We need to turn a negative into a positive and we need to do it quickly as yesterday was not good enough, no where near good enough.
Well, I was one of the first to tell everyone to put their knobs away when the announcement he had purchased 50% of our club, i'm gonna give him a bit more time to see what happens in the coming months, maybe then there may be a bigger picture of his intentions, btw, i'm not convinced by him at the moment, but I, like everyone else on here know **** all about the man, other than what they google
Good post. My position exactly. He will prove his worth to the club by his actions. We shouldn't have long to wait
Just seen the footage of Barnsley giving you a slap - apparently they ran you out of Barnsley after the game too
Was bound to happen when you have a team of right backs playing. Bit pissed off this morning but not anything like Sundays for the past few seasons. We are miles ahead of where we were those seasons in terms of points, goals and league position. Nobody can go unbeaten for long in this league as most teams can beat anyone on their day even Newcastle have had a few spankings. Need to see a reaction from the players, need to see Pontus and a few back, need to find out where Sako is as he was tweeting yesterday? Oh and want to see 2 great players brought in
'kin'ell, he's only got one eye, one leg, and is ****ing mutt'n'jeff, you shoulda wiped the floor with the ****
In the Battered Rams thread you asked me why the Gloom when I expressed an opinion that Monk is not going to be backed this transfer window so.... Why the Gloom, it's just one defeat
Green or Silvestre, many have said it all along, neither are good enough. We didn't lose yesterday because of Robert Green, Silvestre could have been in goal and we might have conceded 2,3,4 we lost because we were not good enough, we shouldn't have had that penalty either. Two of the goals I have zero doubt Silvestre would have done no better, the first maybe he would have saved it but I seem to remember he was poor between the sticks last game out. Its Bamba and Bellusci all over again, both have a save, both have a mistake in them. When Billy comes on singing the praise of Monk next and slamming anyone daring to question him (Monk) there are no excuses, Monk got it wrong too. More important for me will be how we respond next game out. In regards to Doukara, I watched it trying to be more neutral and I can see where his critics are coming from. I still think he is a decent player to have around but if we could get someone better I would understand him being dropped.
while Coyle maybe good enough one day,he's not yet, having to play Ayling in the centre stops his going forward creation.Like I've thought all along we can't cope without Jansson.
If fit, are you happy to see Cooper covering? I know I am okay with it, obviously Jansson first choice...
