Wednesday...Mrs RCL is an owl so the reason is pretty obvious. The rivalry between them is as strong and bitter as any other derby
One of them muppets robbed me of 30 quid down there, just around the corner from Bramall Lane, when I was young and naive. Red and White means **** all to them ****ers.
I've always had a soft spot for Weds, they're a massive club and a return to the big time is long overdue imo.
Forest are another club I like. Always enjoyed the aways at Forest, great club, cracking fans, always had a good day there.
And I thought you were alright RCL I live in Sheffield and my fiancée is from a Blades family and many of my mates support them so Blades are my second team. I agree with you re the Steel Derby. Hopefully it'll be back next season
I hate Leeds - always been a bunch of ****s. I have soft spot for Newcastle, surely they will be back up, and for Forest.
3 years ago I wrote to all 92 league clubs and a few non league ones asking if they could write a congratulations note to my, then 16 and 11 year old daughters for doing well in their GCSEs and SATs. I explained we were spurs fans, that their mum was a Sheffield Wednesday fan, that their Grandma was a chelsea fan and their grand dad was a Leicester fan, and that I wanted to make them an album of football stuff to congratulate them. I included a stamped self addressed envelope so it did not cost them anything. I said it could be a note on a piece of club headed paper from an admin worker so they knew I was not on the take. Some clubs wrote back so I emailed those that didn't with a polite reminder and got around 50 responses. Some twat from Leeds actually wrote back (on headed paper) using the envelope I included. Their response (on headed paper ) said " no, because you are not Leeds fans" So nothing bad enough can happen to the twattish club
Not from Southampton. ..didn't bother me as I figured that the clubs that didn't get back to me just lost the letters and email under the huge workload...just didn't get the twat from Leeds...could have just written congrats on the headed paper...would have saved on the ink
Excellent post RCL ... might not make you popular with some but I suspect that most 'neutrals' will be in broad agreement.
I lived in Nottingham for a while and used to go watch them all the time, I'd love them to get into the PL.
