Fair enough. Its down to others to counteract that post. Well put. Not that it will stay about footy for long.
You have longevity, you have always been up there and challenging for trophies. Chelsea have been doing it for about 15-20 year.
The original big 6 was United, Liverpool, Villa, Everton, Arsenal and Spurs Forest broke that group for a while, as did Leeds. In the PL era the 2 oil clubs have been created and are now firmly in that group. There's load of other big clubs in this country though, Newcastle, Sunderland, Derby, Wednesday to name just a few.
They haven't won a trophy for over 60 years, mate. Like the Crystal Palace chairman once told them. "I know Newcastle are a big club, but only in Newcastle" That seems to be echoed from supporters all over the country. To be fair, they were one of the 20 fighting for one of the 8 places.
Can'tbelieve the usual suspects ain't gound this thread and turned it into a **** storm yet To be honest, when I first supported spurs I was 7 and we were at the end of the Bill Nicolson era. When Ifirst followed our results religiously week in and week out we were relegated. So everything we do I just think, well it could be worse...apart from when we had George Graham and AVB as our manager...seriously thought about trying to like watching paint dry
