Oh. You were being sarcastic. I'll have a look down the back of the sofa, see if I can find some ****s to give. Now, I know had some the other day. Maybe in the kitchen? Bear with me, this could take a while.
If we do it will be historic (and very rewarding if you back them). We have never beaten Chelsea away in any competition. With Man U away we have at least won 1 major cup game. I believe Costa will start in his 100th appearance for them and I hope that we will leave London with a point.
Thè year we were relegated, I seem to recall not just Leicester, but Sunderland putting together some odd, unexpected results; not least their final game, a 3-1 away win against Chelsea. There's always hope if the maths allow it.
Well, 2 upsets this weekend, Swansea winning, Murray losing in Australia, can City make it 3 today? Can see MS going with 451 without the ball, 433 with the ball.
Think you may be confusing Sunderland's 13/14 season with 14/15. When we were relegated in 14/15 Sunderland lost their final game away to Chelsea 3- 1. They won 2 and drew 2 of their last 5 matches Sunderland's "miracle"escape season was in 13/14 when they won 4 of their last 5 games beating Chelsea 2-1 and Man U 1-0 away and Cardiff 4-0 and West Brom 2-0 at home. Believe Marshall was in goal for Cardiff but could be wrong.
Sunderland stayed up last season after going undefeated for their last six games, one of which was a win against Chelsea.
Aye, my memory is shot! It was the run in for 2013/14 that stuck in my mind: there were some strong teams surprised by them, as were many of us. Pity I can't reverse one of our defeats like I did theirs Still hopeful for a gutsy performance today and some semblance of attack.
Good video by Greg Whelan on Super Sunday about Silva. Sky are starting their broadcast of three games by talking about us.
