Hmmmm... City came to this game looking to really make a statement, even to reignite their season. Wonder whether ending up with a draw will be just as damaging to their self-belief as some of their losses in recent weeks?
Great comeback from a team that doesn't know when it's beaten. Sane got lucky with that handball, but that's football. Would have taken a draw before the game, so I'm happy with this phat Spliff I've just lit up
It might be, but putting aside the agendas. They actually played really well and were unlucky not to win that game by a big margin.
Yeh I agree, which makes me feel that it would've been demoralising putting all that effort in, going 2-0 up and still only coming away with a draw.
Spurs got lucky today, with an extra bit of help from the ref. But fair play, to come back from 2-0 down at City deserves credit Props to yer spliff too cuz.
Yeah no doubt we did, you got to take it when it's given, that was one tough watch, hated it, money well spent. Respect Pisk.
True, mate. I've said it before. Lack,of squad depth is a problem for us. On the very rare occasions this season that we've been able to put out a fit first X11 we've looked capable of taking anybody.
Considering we royally ****ed up yesterday, the other teams in the top 6 did us a favour. Arsenal could leapfrog us and Spurs. Chelsea win today and that's that.
Was a very good point and indeed a great come back. But that sort of glosses over the fact that City might easily have recorded the biggest win of any team this season. That first half was just about the most one sided I have seen this season and I'd include the drubbings we have taken at Liverpool,United and Chelsea. Other clubs will have been watching and will look to emulate how City took your defence apart...gonna get interesting...but if you are going to win the league that's just what you have to cope with.
I'd expect wins for both. Burnley don't seem to want to adopt the same approach away as they do at home and are very vulnerable when trying to hold out for a point. Hull seem intent to self destruct and sell their better players off in preparation for life in the Championship.
I expect a win for both too. But losing the early kick off on a Saturday could have turned out a lot worse! Still bad, but could have been tragic.
