Ok... No excuses we were ****e. You remember me saying our ****ing about and general slackness at the back has nearly cost us every game we have won recently well tinight it did.... Monks fault, it must be his tactics.... If he dont chabge it we will come a cropper again.... I think one or two look a bit leggy, doukara needs a rest for a few weeks. Ayling needs to go back to full back i think he has run himself intpthe ground and ideally needs resting next sunday. We need him against forest. At least we have a playing style.. This is an improvement on the last two years but we omlyhave a plan A. We need a target man to go ling when chasing a long ball. Matt Smith should have been kept. The main weakness for me is that we never tackle in midfield and dont win our share of 50/50 balls. We didnt lose in the stands it was a bit tasty. Forget autos its the playoffs at best and sixth will do.
Think I might get pelters for this, but here goes ... This season, we have been noted for our wing play. We play gang of 3 - LM, CM & FB conspire to carve out chances on both wings. Didn't happen once today. I blame the manager. He had 90 mins to make it happen. Even when he introduced his plan B, it still didn't happen - it was all hit & hope. It was almost like Warnock managing us again at times. I'm very disappointed in him. Doukara? Sorry, Marcos, but I thought he was ok today - certainly not the worst. And if you have any faith in our manager, then you'll have to agree he wasn't, otherwise he'd have been subbed. He wasn't. And we had an unused sub too. Think your assessment is too subjective. You obviously have a problem with him, & it shows. Green? Oh dear. Yes, there were 3 good goals against us, however, I think he was to blame for not giving himself a chance to save them. Poor positioning IMO, and very slow reactions. Reminded me of this ....
Makes no odds mukka cos if Huddersfield dont go up auto (and they are the only chasing club that i think can realistically do it) they will piss the playoffs
Nearly all had an off day,it happens now and again. What happened in the stands, seemed to go on for a while.
Leeds fans here, leeds fans there.... We scored and the main stand was 25% leeds including me and the mrs... Tried to kick us all out as they couldnt move us cos away stand was full and it was a mexican stand off.. Oh and crowley was there. Some barnsley fan threw a flare/cracker into the mix. He got a bit of a tap.
we have got to accept we were beaten by a better team today. but we can and do play much better so we move on and hope this is a kick up the arse and next game we show up and play like we can do.
Didn't recognise that team compared to last week against Derby. Positives are we will be going back to Bartley and Jansson in the middle next game, Ayling at RB I think the players who have done so well covering for those out injured were our own worst enemy today, O'Kane surely has to start next week and I assume Sacko is injured? I wasn't sure about the goalkeeping, the guys on Sky seemed to think nothing much could have been done about them (the goals). Funny enough I watched a bit of the QPR game yesterday and wondered what the chances would be of us signing Smithies. Monk has to take a lot of praise this season, he also has to take criticism, I agree with WJ about Monk this game, hopefully he will learn from it. On a positive, how much better are our corners though, after season after season looking like we will never score from one again with Mowatt taking them we suddenly look like we might score from every one we take.
wish him happy birthday is he the one with a Leeds Utd tattoo up his arm ? is that what the axe is for was only a game mukka ok you lost to your local rivals but i think you are taking defeat a tad harsh
