The Chairboys end their run of four games in a row at home in January when they entertain the fellow playoff chasing Hatters at Adams Park before ending the month with three away games including a glamour cup tie at The Lane as well as a EFL Trophy Quarter Final at Field Mill, so its a busy time for our small squad and one that will stretch the resources to the limit but hopefully we will come through it with our heads held high, the Hatters are also in EFL Trophy Quarter Final action on Tuesday evening at home against the Glovers. Gaz has no new injuries that we are aware of and will be hoping Scotty Kashket will return but with a busy period ahead may have to settle with a place on the bench where he may well be joined by Dayle Southwell, Harriman and Bloomfield are still weeks away from a return. A big crowd is expected for this one and I will be amongst them hoping to see us gain our first win against the Hatters at AP in twelve attempts, this will be a difficult game against one of the promotion favourites but we have a score to settle after being hammered 4-1 four months ago and I'm sure the lads will be up for the task and we can cap off our home run with a good result
Tough game to call especially with our dismal record against the hatters. The defeat earlier in the season wasn't as bad as the 4 - 1 scoreline suggests .hopefully that result will spur the lads on and keep our unbeaten run going but if I was a gambling man I'd say this has a draw written all over it I'm going 1-1 .
Oh boy that was a nearly. Took a red to help you out I think. Look on the bright side Colu_Mike won't be around tonight. Think you might be happier with a point gained rather than 2 lost.
I said it would be a draw so am happy with that.col ewe getting battered was a bonus.spurs getting out of jail at man city was an even bigger bonus all in all a good day
I'm disappointed now Rocky. I thought you had become a bit sort of greeny blue or even bluey green. We didn't get a mention.
Thank you Plymouth for that late winner and to Bayo for the totally expected equaliser. 1-1 never in doubt. The biggest 1-1 certainty ever. Should have been odds on for the draw
I've been a bit bored tonight so have been looking around at things I would normally not bother with. I took a long look at the league table and boy is it getting tight in there. 10 points from 4th to 14th. Couple of wins and you could be laughing and a couple the other way and you could be weeping. Over the course of the next 3 weeks or so the fixtures up and around the promotion places is quite facinating. You could be playing the current form team or somebody a place or two above or below. All the teams seem to have that kind of fixture list. How that bleddy FA computer who does the fixtures knows I haven't a clue. This could be quite a defining period for what's to come. Think we gained 2 points today and you gained one. The margins are so close. I'll take it however it comes.
Our fixtures means we have to play everybody above us at home the rest of our season will hinge on our 3 away games on the trot after the Pompey game. Hanging on to fifth & we still have used very few loan players to only have one player on loan at our level must be some sort of record.
