Jake or Tom, there's a lot of more skillful especially Jay Jay and Snodgrass but they had and have only played a few games.
I've only just come in. Haven't heard any news today, and only just found out Livermore has gone. I'm gobsmacked. Why the **** are we selling players?! Is there another thread discussing this?
Livermore and Myler are about as good as each other. OK, Livermore a shade better. But, that's about it
Huddlestone is the better footballer. If you can count Geovanni, he was one of the best I've seen in a City shirt.
Had the ''hard man'' of the team tag but, he was certainly more than that, he read the game, could see and make a pass, and had hell of a shot on him.
When he first started for City (at 'inside left', IIRC), he quickly became known as 'Sugar Plum' because of his Raheem Sterling-like arm positioning when running. I remember my mates and I were all scoffing when Britton moved him to 'left half' as he certainly hadn't shown any sign of being an 'enforcer' type. Boy, were we wrong! I got to know him quite well when he moved to Blackpool, when we were living in Lytham. His arm action when throwing darts was as girly as when he was running. A good bloke; shame about his later 'indiscretions'!
No Not even the best midfielder we've got this season I'd have still kept him though...he's our best dual purpose midfielder / central defender though
